Atelier Van Lieshout at work

Atelier Van Lieshout´s workshop is situated in a large warehouse in the harbours of Rotterdam. The artworks begin their lives here, before travelling across the globe. The atelier has different departments: fibreglass, sculpture, wood and metal workshops. The studio generally has twenty employees from different backgrounds and various places around the world. The designers, artists, craftsmen and metalworkers are closely involved in the manufacturing process of each product. Both design and production of the artworks takes place in this workshop.

Next to this, the atelier has an office with about 4 employees, who facilitate contact with museums, galleries, private clients and city councils or other public bodies in order to get the work from the atelier onto the street, into a museum or into someone’s home.
